Tweed was born in 2002 and has proven to be an exceptional hunting hawk,
she hunts throughout the winter and has a hunting weight of 2lb 8oz.
At the end of a school display the birds fly between two rows of children
to the waiting glove of another child, or unsuspecting teacher!
Getting down to the kids level - Tweed shows off her best side,
while Bob explains more about the birds we work with.
Lady, having passed the lure gains height for
another attempt. The lure is a leather pouch which the falconer swings and the bird chases. This way, we are able
to exercise the bird and ensure she is kept fit and happy.

As the afternoon light starts to fade, Lady, the Lanner Falcon stretches
her wings after her days work.
